Rugged, 300W Rack-mount Power Supply/Battery Charger for Harsh Environments
Absopulse Absopulse Electronics’ BCH 65-3U/19M Series is a rugged constant current/constant voltage combination power supply and battery charger designed for industrial and other rugged environments. This 300W unit operates in constant current mode while the battery is charging and resumes constant voltage/float mode when the battery is fully charged. A built-in redundancy diode prevents battery discharge back into the charger if the AC is disconnected or collapses. Single output float voltage options include 13.8Vdc, 27.6Vdc, 55.2Vdc or 138Vdc; the output is adjustable by a trimpot located on the frontpanel. It operates from a jumper selectable, 115Vac/230Vac input. Custom input and output options are available on request. The BCH 65-3U/19M is mounted on a 3U x 19” front-panel with an analog voltmeter and ammeter to indicate charging status, front-panel adjustment and an AC-line input switch. It is natural convection cooled and rated for operation over a 0°C to 50°C temperature range, with extended temperature ranges available. Other options include an output fail alarm (Form C), and heavy ruggedizing and conformal coating for additional immunity to high levels of shock and vibration. The unit is fully protected and meets EN 60950 and related international standard requirements. Ask us about our extensive range of converters with high input voltages.
